School got out the Friday of Memorial weekend. Since Loren had a long weekend we jumped in the car for a trip to the cabin. It was pretty hot here so we were looking forward to some cooler weather. Well I only packed summer clothes for all of us. We wanted cooler weather not really cold weather. I ran to trusty Walmart and found a few sweatshirts on clearance for the kids and me. When I was checking out at the register the Walmart lady gave me the typical, "did you find everything you were looking for?" I responded with a "yes and man it is cold up here!" She put me right in my place and said (I kid you not) "Duh, it's the mountains!" Walmart is the same where ever you are...
Saturday Loren and Doug took the boys fishing.
Look, Brigg is not plugged into anything, and he is still alive!
Sunday evening we went on a walk. I think the boys crossed this stream about 5 times.
Loren is helping keep their shoes dry.
Cali enjoys the walks but when she is done she lets me know by yanking my hair out. Which of course she thinks is hilarious.
Like always it was tons of fun and the kids, and grandpa were pretty tuckered out.
