Happy 1st birthday Cali

What can I say about this little one? Our family would not be complete with out her. She wants to be involved in what ever is going on. She loves to sit with the boys when they are playing video games. She is a total momma's girl. She loves shoes! She knows if something is for her and gets really excited. She loves her new "hog" that her daddy bought for her. She is a fish and really loves to be in the pool.
I love how her brothers will do anything for her. I love the look on her face when I go and get her out of her crib after a nap. I love her vampire teeth and her super cheesy smile she does to Loren. I love it when Loren gets home from work and takes Cali into her bedroom to play with her so I can finish cooking dinner. I listen to them on the baby monitor and it melts my heart.

Happy birthday Baby girl!

Idaho

Well we were able to make it up to Idaho this year for a few weeks. I had my nephew Isaac fly down and he stayed for a few days before and then he drove to ID with us. He was a big help in the car and when we stopped for gas, food and potty breaks. The kids did really well on the trip, no big complaints and I did not get pulled over. A few different times I thought I was in for it but the cops litterally just waved at me. The first night of the drive we stayed at Loren's aunt and uncle's house in Flag, then the next day we continued on to Isaac's house in UT. We stayed and played with the cousins for a little while in the morning then continued on alone to Boise. Like always we had a wonderful time. Bike rides, tree climbing, nature walks, boat rides and cousin time. Loren flew up some time in the middle to finish out the trip with us. My dear friend got married this summer so we went to her rehersal dinner and wedding. It was so nice to see some friends who I had not seen in a while and especially to share the big day with Lindsay!
Like always it goes way too fast and we are ready to go home. We turned it into a trip on the way home and it was so much fun! Once again we stayed at my brothers house and played with the cousins. Before we left UT we met up with the Spencer cousins at Thanksgiving point for lunch. We drove thru Moab and went in to the park to see some of the arches. That night we stayed in Durango Co.Loren was not as lucky as I was as far as the cops go. He did not just get the wave. The next day we drove to ABQ and did some school shopping and stayed in a waterpark hotel.
It was tons of fun but it is always so nice to be back in your own home!

Reunion, cabin style!

Almost all of the Spencer boys and their families were able to meet up at the cabin this year. Grandma and Grandpa really out did themselves with entertainment for the kids. Doug, with the help of some of his boys installed a zip-line off the roof of the cabin. here is Loren testing it out.

The kids built rockets and we shot them into the sky until they crash landed so badly they could not fly anymore.

We went on a hike and ended up playing in the water.

Cali enjoyed her first capri sun while the big kids had a mud fight.

Tyden thought his skin needed some exfoliating or something.

The muddy ones!

Loren and his dad cleaning each other off like little monkeys.

Went enjoyed the Showlow 4th of July Parade.

A little lovin.

We saw this beauty on the way back to the cabin from the parade.

We got to meet up with the Boone family while we were there! This is one of my favorite people in the world!!!

We had flour bomb fights.

Cali would have just crawled right in this little river if I would have let her. She was happy has could be.

We had so much fun and hopefully we can do this every year. In the end it was time to go...
Cali was all pooped out!
