labor day

We had a great Labor Day weekend. Sunday after church we jumped in the car and went camping with 2 others families, the Boone's and the Stanley's. Each of us have 3 kiddos and each one of us has a 5 year old boy. Really everyone gets along pretty well so it is always a good time. We grilled up a mean dinner and finished the night with smores, banana boats and dutch oven peach cobbler. Everyone put their kids to bed then all of the adults were able to sit around the fire and relax.

Monday morning all of the kids were awake bright and early. We whipped up some pancakes and egg burritos then went about taking down the camp. I love camping but it is daunting when you think about everything you need to take for just one night. Everything was covered in dirt when we got home. It was extremely dry and very dusty. Codee was a very tired pup by the end of it all.

We hurried home and got the house and ourselves all cleaned up for a bbq at our house Monday night. Loren invited all of his fellow residents and their families over to the house for some fun and to watch the BSU football game. I did not take any pictures but it was a good time had by all. The food was good the company was great and the Broncos won!

I slept so good that night.
