We all are anxiously waiting for the arrival of our little girl. The boys ask me almost everyday when we are going to get the baby out. Her room is ready to go, she has diapers, clothes and hair bows. Her car seat is ready and waiting and so is her momma. She is welcome anytime.
In the mean time we are checking things out.

A few weeks ago we took the boys up to a small nearby town named Ruidoso. We ate at a local pizza place bought some fudge and rock candy suckers. Then we went to the horse races. We only stayed for a few of the races, it was pretty hot sitting out there in the sun. Each of us chose a color or a number that we wanted to win then we cheered our rider on. It was fun!

boys and bugs.

Swimming never gets old.

This morning we went out to White Sands. I think this place is so amazing. It rained yesterday so the sand felt extra cool. Codee had so much fun running up and down the dunes that she was worn out. She let us bury her in the sand. It wasn't that hot yet, but even putting a small layer of sand on my legs cooled me down. She must have loved it, she sat there for a good half hour.
After a quick shower and lunch at home we drove to another small town near by named Cloudcroft and explored some parks in the much cooler weather. On the way home we hit up the Apple Barn for ice cream and fudge.
So we are all patiently waiting, some more patiently than others of course.
